Saddlebrooke, MO -
The concept was proposed for an entrance and gateway to a new, small town on 4,000 acres in the heart of the Ozark Mountains. With natural limestone and the largest, underground, freshwater source in the world, these projects natural elements needed to be brought out and highlighted.
With a concept for the whole town center very similar to Rocamadour, in France, the town could be built into and as a part of the natural limestone ledges. The entrance archetype was: the wings of a guardian angel that would welcome and protect all coming in and out of the town with ponds and water representing purity and cleansing to all inhabitants.
